Girl of Nightmares - Kendare Blake Anna Dressed in Blood - Kendare Blake

Girl of Nightmares is the sequel to Anna Dressed In Blood.  I really enjoyed the first book except for the ending.  Originally I did not know there was going to be a sequel but when I found out I could not wait to get my hands on it but unfortunately I haven't gotten the chance to get it until now.

If you haven't read Anna Dressed in Blood you really should it is an amazing book!

But this is a book for Girl of Nightmares so first off lets talk about this cover.  I love the cover for this book it is so stunning and haunting looking.  I would not change anything about this cover it is truly amazing.

Now for the book:  This book takes place about six months after the ending of Anna Dressed in Blood.   Throughout this book Cas is not a pleasant person he is full of grief over the loss of Anna which is fine  I get it he loves her he doesn't know how to deal without her he wants to find her its great but I feel like it should have been done a little better.  Carmel....she was okay I liked in the first book how she dealt with everything and she sort of did the same in this one but there is one part in Girl of Nightmares where she really pissed me off and did not handle the situation right like a simple thing like talking would have fixed it.  Just she made me so mad...Thomas was the only one out of the three that didn't make me mad actually he was a true friend to Cas and I like how loyal he was.  I could deal with all of those things though my main problem with this book was I wanted more of Anna.  I wanted the Anna and Cas time that I loved I mean you do get that in the last like four chapters but that didn't seem enough to me.  I really do like the ending though I think it was really well done.
