The Diving Bell and the Butterfly: A Memoir of Life in Death by Jean-Dominique Bauby 1st (first) Edition [Hardcover(1997/5/13)] - Jean-Dominique Bauby

It wasn't what I expected but it was pretty enjoyable.  It reads more like a short memoir than an adventure story.  The story is amazing he wrote the whole thing by blinking his eyes while the rest of him was paralyzed.  It's only 130 pages but it's a lot to digest.  It gives amazing insight to someone suffering from locked in syndrome.
