So many books so little time

I have been collecting and actively reading books for the past seven years. Even though I love to read now it wasn't always that way. As a child my mother used to force me to go to a read-a-thon that lasted the entire summer at the library...EVERY SUMMER...and hated it. It wasn't until I was a freshman in high school that I started to like reading but rarely read. When I went to Italy in 2009 is when I started to actively read and collect books. Now a days I feel like I am read so much to try to make up for the lost time.

I won this book in a giveaway and the cover was so beautiful that I couldn't wait to read it.

It was a pretty good book but I had a few issues with it.

First off lets talk about this cover. I think it is absolutely stunning. It's so beautiful and mysterious and just I love it.

I really like the world it was so well thought out and it worked so well. I did not Love the main character Kai but I am hoping that in the next book she grows on me. Avan started out sort of dull but he developed into this amazing true friend. I also liked the relationship between Kai and Reev they are so close. The ending was so messy ...I am really glad that there is another book because I would like for it to make more sense.

With all that being said I think it's a pretty good read and I hope that it grows as a series. I cannot wait to read the next book.
